Liberty Mutual Re (LM Re), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has appointed Scott Mackie to the role of Director of Assumed Reinsurance – Property. Scott will be based in Stamford, Connecticut and will report to Richard Mairano, Liberty Mutual Re’s Senior Vice President, Property Treaty. He joins with immediate effect and will be responsible for underwriting US property risk and pro-rata business and marketing to brokers throughout the US.

Most recently Senior Property Underwriter for Treaty with AXA XL, Scott Mackie has 18 years’ experience in the reinsurance industry.
