Biography
James was appointed Executive Vice President & General Manager of LM Re’s US operation in June 2016. In this role, he oversees the underwriting and functional areas associated of US based treaty portfolio of P&C business.
Before his appointment at Liberty in 2016, James was Senior Vice President – Head of Casualty Lines for Swiss Re. He was responsible for the underwriting of Swiss Re Americas Casualty portfolio produced through reinsurance brokers.
Prior to this, James spent over 10 years at Endurance Reinsurance Corporation of America where he was Executive Vice President – Head of US Reinsurance from 2009-2014.
James has over 30 years of experience in the broker reinsurance market including underwriting and managing different P&C classes of business.
James graduated from Yale University – B.A. in American Studies
